The missions described below are characterized by a fairly low level of difficulty, which you should easily cope with at the beginning of the adventure. All of them take place in Goliath and are not battle-oriented. In most cases, you will talk to the residents about their problems and, of course, solve them.
Side missions in Goliet are a great opportunity to gain valuable experience and earn a large number of crystals, which will definitely come in handy at the beginning of the game.
Mission: The Second Guard
Customer: Edur.
Goal: to find Alvar.
Experience: 750; Reward: several items and about 230 crystals.
Edur will ask you to help find Alvar. You will be transferred from one resident to another to get information about the location of the guard. Go to Dorothy first. He will send you to Oran, the owner of the tavern. The latter, in turn, will tell you that Argor may know something. Argor will assume that the person you are looking for may be in Ragnar's Fortress, located in a ruined hotel. Alvar's body can be found in the camp located at the southern wall of the facility. Take everything you find near Alvar and return to Edur for the reward.
Mission: Clan Problems
Customer: Kormag.
Objective: To stop Eldur from attacking the Iron Clan.
Experience: about 900; Reward: 100 + 250 crystals.
After receiving the quest from Kormag, go to Eldur and talk to him. It turns out that Oran, the owner of the tavern, does not want to let members of the Hammer clan into his premises. You have to go to the innkeeper to solve this problem. You can convince Oran in several ways: dissuade him from what to do (requires the skill "Suggestion" or "Charisma"), pay him or challenge him to a duel.
After you solve the problem with Oran, return to Eldur for experience and crystals. Then go to the Food Store. You can tell him the truth and betray Angrim, or keep it to yourself. The mission is over, and if you haven't hidden the thread from your questor, follow him to Ragnar to eavesdrop on an interesting conversation.
Mission: Free Beer
Customer: Drog.
Purpose: to bring beer to Drog.
Experience: 100; Reward: 50 crystals.
When crossing the gate where the Drog stands, sooner or later this guard will come up to you and ask you to bring him a beer. Beer can be bought in a tavern, found in the city or stolen. Drog won't want to pay for help. You can provoke him into a fight, but this is not the best idea, because the guard is a strong fighter.
Drog will try to extort a tribute of 200 crystals from you for intercession with Ragnar. If you have at least one combat skill, then you can convince him to change his mind and get 50 crystals.
